Louann Faist - Tapestry Weaver of Hand Dyed Wool.  

Its my delight to share with you some of the pieces I have woven. Through the 27 years of tapestry weaving I have developed a style that inspires and excites my creativity. Each piece begins with either a watercolor or drawing and transferred to the actual weaving size cartoon that is my road map to follow. My pallette are the colors I dye and the canvas is my hand build vertical tapestry loom made by my husband and fine artist Rick Faist. As the Chair of the Pacifica Arts Guild, I strive to inspire others to find their own particular creativity, to excite and feel good about themselves, as I have been fortunate to experience all these years as a tapestry weaver.
