Kazuko Young - Pottery

I loved all kinds of art when I was a child. When I grew up I studied oil painting at Women's Art College in Tokyo, Japan. I studied weaving under a private tutor. I have been working with clay for thirteen years.
From the time I hold the chunk of clay in my hands, to the time I take out the fired piece from the smoking can or the kiln, and each time I look at the finished piece, the whole process gives me dreams, passion, surprises, and joy (sometimes disappointments, too).
These give me positive power for the next step in my life. I want to share these feelings with everyone who sees my pieces.

If you would like more information on classes or to purchase pieces please write or call:kazuko1@yahoo.com
